Vegetation Management Program Underway

The MD’s annual Vegetation Management Program is well underway on municipally-owned road allowances for the destruction of prohibited noxious weeds, the control of noxious weeds, and the control of woody species by application of herbicides. The program is expected to be complete on October 15.

Muskeg Road Portion of Old Smith Hwy Restricted

The Muskeg Road portion of the Old Smith Highway is restricted indefinitely to local traffic only due to poor road conditions.
